What materials do we use?

We use high-quality Mammoth material - 100% acrylic yarn, 100% natural Merino wool and 100% organic cotton.

Acrylic yarn is vegan, hypoallergenic and very durable. It is very similar in characteristics to Merino wool. In addition to a slightly cheaper price, these blankets are also suitable for people who surround themselves with only vegan products.

Second material - 100% Merino wool is made of extremely high quality and appreciated natural material. It is known for being one of the best natural insulating materials, which provides heat on cold days as well as regulating body temperature on hot days, making it suitable for allergy sufferers, not spotting, not static, not accepting body odors, has the ability to self-clean, etc. The price is indeed higher, but the fact is that the process of obtaining merino wool is already complicated and time-consuming, so it goes without saying.

The third material is 100% organic cotton, filled with polyester fibers, which was made as an alternative to thick wool blankets. The advantage of this material is that it can be washed in the washing machine, doesn't pill and it is also very pleasant to the touch. We also make blankets and beautiful decorative pillows from this material.

Although all products are very durable, they must be handled gently and carefully!

How long do I wait for a blanket?

As soon as we receive the order, we will inform you whether the ordered color is in stock - if it is, then the product will be ready within 3-5 days, but if the color is not in stock, the delivery time is extended by one week to fourteen days. We will keep you informed about the status of the order.

Why does my blanket pill?

Merino Wool and Mammoth Acrylic yarn are both very soft and delicate materials. Please note that like with every wool the slight shedding of fibers is normal and not indicative of any defect. This is normal and does NOT count as a production error! It only shows you the material is natural. It will last long with proper care and the shedding will decrease over time.

Each of our blanket is steamed when made - this significantly reduces pilling. However, even after us doing all this, there can still be slight piling, shedding of these fibres - this is perfectly normal and should happen.

The pilling can be carefully removed or gently rubbed back into the yarn. Please be in touch for further advice if necessary.

Kindly reminder that our chunky knit blankets are handmade and delicate so please take that into consideration when ordering.

How should I take care of the blanket?

We recommend professional dry cleaning only. At home, a gentle hand wash with cold water is recommended - dry it in the air and do not stretch it wet.

You can aerate blankets outside to make them fresh again. You can use washing machine, but only with steam function (washing without water, only steams). Merino wool has ability to clean itself from smells in fresh air. If it gets dirty, gently remove the stain with cold water and dry it on air.

The cotton material can be washed by hand or machine at 30 ° C. Dry the blanket in the air and do not stretch it wet.

Can I refund or exchange a product?

As a customer you have a 14 days right of withdrawal under the distance contract law. The withdrawal period begins to run from the day you have received the item. The product should be in un-used condition and well packed, preferably in original packaging. You have to notify us about the return by this mail - info@sleepy.si or in our contact form. In the email / message you need to state Your name, address, e-mail address, order number and the item you want to return. When we receive the item and review it, we will refund the money you paid for the item.

Because each product on our website is handmade, exchanging product for another product not possible. Thank you for your understanding.
